Last October, TNA made a bold move, hiring former WWE and ROH writer Dave Lagana as Director of Creative Writing. At the time, details of his exact role within the company were virtually nonexistent, with Lagana simply saying his job was to, “focus solely on the development of new wrestling shows”. Rumors swirled, and despite Lagana’s statement to the contrary, many wondered if his arrival ultimately signaled the end of Vince Russo. Well, it took four months, but Russo has just today been shown the door. After Lagana’s efforts (along with the effort’s of many others) resulted in the creation of pro wrestling’s newest show, and one of the most exciting things I’ve seen in wrestling in some time, Ring Ka King, it's hardly a shock.
